Arranging/Songwriting
Dan’s compositions and arrangements vary in style from
Classical to Contemporary and from simple to complex.
Dan uses the music software CAKEWALK® and FINALE®
to produce sheet music that is of the utmost professional quality
expected from today’s working musicians.
Work for recent clients have included transcribing and
arranging music for vocal, piano, strings, guitar and other instruments.
Studio time can also be coordinated along with recommendations for
musicians to be used on recording.
Songwriting and Arranging Services include:
1. Music written and arranged per customers specifications dependent upon the complexity of the song and/or arrangement. Collaboration between the artist and Dan Keeley will be inevitable due to the nature of the work environment. Communication will occur through email,telephone or in person.
2. The song(s) will be notated per customers specifications on lead sheets and/or full choral,instrumental scores ready to perform and delivered to you via email or by the postal service in the following formats: .MP3, .WAV, .TIFF, .GIF/JPEG, .PDF, .MUS
3. Songs can be recorded using MIDI software with customers specific instrumentation, but in all honesty, the customer will want to consider having their song(s) professionally recorded in a professional studio. Dan can help you with contacting a local studio in the Roanoke Valley.

Pricing for Arranging/Song Writing
My current rate is $40 – $45 an hour.
Estimates are dependent upon review of project and the
level of difficulty involved finishing the project.
The project is not considered complete until the customer
is satisfied with the work for hire, however, payment must be made in full
before work is delivered. Any revisions requested by the customer
will still carry the hourly charge and will be added to your total bill.
Estimates are free of charge.

Electronic files must be less than 10MB due to email restrictions
PAYMENT
You may pay by personal or company check, money order,
cashiers check or through PayPal (include link).
All transactions must be cleared before work is delivered.
Delivery of finished project will occur via e-mail in .MP3,.PDF and/or .MUS
(Finale) files. You will need the free viewers in order to view and print
your transcriptions. Otherwise, I will mail you printed copies (additional shipping and handling charges will apply).
I can also help you in obtaining information from the U.S. Copyright office so your work will be protected. Just let me know.
